Murder of crows

Barbell

Our 1010 Dean Street facility is home to the Murder of Crows Weightlifting and Powerlifting Teams. We are one of the largest training facilities dedicated to the barbell sports. Our coaches have worked with those who never touched a barbell to those who have competed at the Olympics. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive community that supports each other on and off the platform. If you are interested in learning the barbell sports, perfect the movements, or improve your competition results, we can help you.

Weightlifting

Weightlifting is the only barbell sport in the Olympics. Athletes compete in two lifts, the snatch and the clean & jerk.  Weightlifting is one of the original sports of the modern Olympic era.

To be successful an athlete must be strong, fast, and very flexible.  The movements are complex, but with our coaching staff we will get you up to speed in no time!

You must register for the Gold or Silver monthly membership to participate in our Team Training Sessions and to have access to our program. If you are new to the sport our private orientation sessions are required before attending.

Team sessions are run as self-paced with the coaching staff working with each athlete throughout the session.
