Membership & Account Questions
What membership options do you offer?
We offer monthly memberships at MOC Brooklyn (964 Dean Street) and MOC Barbell & Fitness (1010 Dean Street), each with different access benefits. Monthly memberships at 1010 include Off Hours access and can be upgraded with access to 964 Dean for an additional monthly fee. —> Learn More.
How do I set up a membership?
To sign up, please schedule an appointment to tour facilities and purchase a monthly membership. Appointments meet at 964 Dean Street. —> Make an Appointment
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes. To cancel your automatic renewal, email us at least 5 days before your renewal date. Mid-month holds are not permitted unless due to serious illness or injury with a doctor’s note. —> Email Us
Facility & Access Questions
What’s the difference between 964 Dean and 1010 Dean?
964 Dean Street (MOC Brooklyn) is a fully equipped gym with machines, astro turf, cardio equipment, lifting platforms, showers, and more.
1010 Dean Street (MOC Barbell & Fitness) hosts all classes, group training programs, team sessions, and has extended Off Hours Access for monthly memberships.
What’s the difference between Off Hours and On Hours at 1010 Dean Street?
Off Hours — Access for monthly members to use space independently via the BRIVO app. —> Learn More
On Hours — Scheduled classes, team training, and peak times requiring sign-in at the kiosk. —> Learn More
Can I bring a friend, dog, or child?
Friends can purchase class or session passes if eligible, but guests are not allowed during Off Hours. Dogs and children are not permitted for safety reasons.
Can I bring my bike or scooter inside?
Bikes must be locked outside in our bike rack. Scooters are allowed inside.
Classes, Training & Experience
Do I need experience to attend classes?
Strength & Cardio classes and Barbell Strength classes do not require experience.
CrossTraining (WOD) classes require at least 3 months of CrossFit experience.
Weightlifting and Powerlifting Team sessions are not open to drop-ins and require prior experience or completion of private orientation.
What are Private Training Orientations?
If you’re new to CrossTraining, Weightlifting, or Powerlifting, you’ll begin with three one-on-one orientation sessions to learn foundational movements and prepare for group or team training. Please email us to get set up. —> Email Us
Drop-Ins & Class Passes
Can I drop in without a membership?
MOC Barbell & Fitness (1010 Dean): You can reserve class or session passes (but not Off Hours). —> Purchase Here
MOC Brooklyn (964 Dean): Drop-ins require an appointment booked under “Membership Consultation.” —> Make Appointment Here
Apps & Member Tools
What apps should I use as a member?
MOC Barbell & Fitness app — Purchase memberships, book classes, and sign in for On Hours sessions.
BRIVO — For Off Hours check-ins at 1010 Dean and door access for 964 Dean. Only available for monthly members.
TrainHeroic — Used by weightlifting and powerlifting team members to view and track training programs. Must have a Platinum, Gold, or Silver monthly membership for access.
SugarWOD — For WOD and Strength & Cardio workout programming, planning, and tracking. Must have an active monthly membership for access.
